Program Overview

The Weston Family Foundation, through the Weston Brain Institute, will launch the Rapid Response 2026 program in January 2026.

This year, the program will provide seed funding to support bold, high-risk, high-reward translational research focused on advancing biomarker development to accelerate the early detection and timely diagnosis of neurodegenerative diseases of aging for Canadians.

Further details, including eligibility criteria and timelines, will be shared when the call launches in the new year.
